Mike lays a hand on the floor plan. No improvising tonight. Move exactly as told.麦克把手按在平面图上。今晚不许即兴发挥。按说好的行动。麥克把手按在平面圖上。今晚不許即興發揮。按說好的行動。Mike đặt tay lên tấm sơ đồ. Đêm nay không ứng biến. Hành động đúng như đã nói.

Reports come later — first the work, then the words.报告放在后面——先做事，再说话。報告放在後面——先做事，再說話。Báo cáo để sau — việc trước, lời sau.

Key Sentences
1. 〜とおりに (exactly as ～)
おれが 言った 通りに、動いて くれ。

2. 〜たあとで (after ～)

3. 〜て (in a state of / and then)

誰にも 言わないで、ここを 出る。

Grammar Patterns
とおりに forms; て vs ないで.
V-た / V-る + とおりに
Do something the same way as a model. Past 言った とおりに (as I said); present 言う とおりに (as I say); noun の: 地図の とおりに.
V-た + あとで
Do B after A finishes. 食べた あとで, 終わった あとで. Noun + の: 仕事の あとで. (Compare 〜まえに from L18.)
V-て / V-ないで (accompanying state)
〜て: do B in the state of A (持って出かける = go out carrying). 〜ないで: do B without doing A (言わないで出る = leave without saying).

傘を持って 行きます = go (while) carrying an umbrella. 朝ごはんを 食べないで 行きます = go without eating breakfast. Note: the "without" form is 〜ないで, not 〜なくて, for accompanying actions.
